What happens if you don't spend all of the funds?

The funds will be carried forward from year to year if the approved projects don't absorb the amount collected. In fact, one of the goals is to maintain a reserve.

Why do you plan for a reserve?

Proposals will be submitted each semester and projects will be approved to move forward.  We anticipate that there may be occasions where an important improvement may be identified after the list of projects have been approved for the semester and the committee would like the ability to respond to that newly identified project quickly without waiting until the next approval cycle.
